Homecoming Parade

Manchester’s 1st Evening Parade
Saturday, September 12th at 7:00 PM

When life gives you lemons…have a parade!
Get your neighborhood, band, friends, school, PTO, organization, or business together to parade through Manchester.
The parade will be Saturday, September 12, 2020.  We will begin lining up entries at 6:00 p.m. at Schroeder Parking Lot, the parade will step off promptly at 7:00 p.m.  The route is approximately 1.5 miles long; the parade will also end at Schroeder Park.
The theme is "When Life Gives You Lemons..."
We would love to see you decorate with lights since this is a night parade. Families, Neighborhoods, teams, let’s have fun!!

Of course, there are a few new rules:

  • Please follow current guidelines as far as masks and social distancing goes. There are a lot of options, wear masks on the float, have a multi-vehicle entry for your group with each family in their own decorated vehicle, walk socially distanced
  • If you are throwing candy from a float or car, you must have a walker on each side to ensure spectator safety
  • Parade participants are encouraged to be dropped off, but we will have some parking on the grass field at Schroeder Park

Act now and don’t be left out of the fun!  Complete the entry form and email it back to bjones@manchestermo.gov. Or you can mail it Manchester Parade Committee, 359 Old Meramec Station Rd. Manchester, Mo 63021
