Additional Employee Recognition

  • Bob, your crew is doing a outstanding job! Mindful of not obstructing citizen and delivery personnel traffic. Bonus points for working Becky USPS for getting mail into mail boxes! ~ Bruce
  • Wanted to commend the Sewer Lateral crew led by Mike on a great job. It was completed in a timely manner and he was a pleasure to work with.. ~ MikeMcKenna
  • All the work we have seen the street dept. complete has been just so professional and indeed, excellent. To all the planners, supervisors and road crews our sincere THANK YOU!! ~ Joe & Jeanette Dowling
  • I just want to recognize the awesome job Sally Rafferty, Paul Schweickhardt, Devin Cooper, and Craig Waterhouse did this morning trying to help two lost dogs stuck in a drainage culvert in Schroeder Park. Sally and Paul in particular worked to secure one of the dogs and help the owner by following the culverts through Manchester. Ally and Ollie are now home safe and their owners, Tom & JoEllen expressed immense gratitude for the help and care from the Parks Department. ~ Kat Schien, Director of Parks, Recreation & Arts
  • I wanted to let you know your Public Works team is awesome! Responsive, caring and “let-us-see-what-we-can-do” attitude should not only be recognized, but rewarded too! I’m sure during their journey’s they take a lot of complaints, however in reality the people that are complaining have no idea how lucky we are as Manchester residents. For me, asking for street signs for kids playing to correcting my irrigation problem as a result of new sidewalks, they are the best! ~ Mike Bogad
  • I just wanted to say how grateful I am for the regular assistance of our new City Clerk, Justin Klocke. He has been an invaluable resource when it comes to St. Louis County COVID restrictions and guidelines – he regularly helps me with the most obscure details, and always has such a pleasant and uplifting attitude. I’m so grateful to have him as part of our team! ~ Kat Schien, Director of Parks, Recreation & Arts
  • I wanted to let you know that my wife and I are truly appreciative of Mike Pate and the rest of the Manchester Public Works team, thank you! We recently utilized the city’s sewer lateral program and were thus introduced to Mike. He immediately made me feel confident this was going to be a stress free process and was extremely helpful in every interaction we had. His commitment to his work really shows as I felt he was treating our house as his own and ensuring every detail was attended to. THANK YOU to Mike! ~ Cory and Amanda Greene
