    Unfortunately, we have had to cancel our summer t-ball session due to COVID-19. Keep an eye out for some of our fun digital activities you can do from home! This class is led by park staff and parental involvement is strongly encouraged. Each child should wear tennis shoes & bring a glove. Tiny T-Ball Ages 3-4: Intro to T-Ball, players learn basic skills: throwing, catching, hitting from a tee, base running, and having fun! 6-6:45 p.m. Res. $42 Non-Res. $57 Youth T-Ball Ages 4-5: This class expands on the basics.   5. Flags of Valor Display - D-Day

    June 6, 2020, All Day

    The Manchester Flags of Valor collection will be displayed on D-Day, June 6th. Manchester has a proud collection of Flags of Valor. Part of the 15th anniversary display entitled “America’s Heartland Remembers,” these 26 American flags were some of the more than 7000 flying in remembrance on Art Hill in 2016, each flag an individualized tribute to a military hero who lost their life in the “War on Terror.” Also part of this important collection, an American flag that flew in the center circle of the 2016 Art Hill installation in honor of those heroes that lost their lives to PTSD, a recognition that the casualties of war occur on and off the battlefield. The Flags of Valor are displayed at the Veterans Memorial today.

  6. Food Drive to Benefit Circle of Concern

    June 6, 2020, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Paul A Schroeder Park

    Please join us on June 6th from 8AM - 12PM at Paul Schroeder Park for a food drive benefiting Circle of Concern. Many organizations have collaborated to make this event happen, including the City of Manchester, Arthur Murray Dance Studio, Circle of Concern, and the Manchester Small Business Association. The food drive will operate under the guidelines put forth by St. Louis County and the CDC. After pulling in to Schroeder Park, participants will pop their trunks and volunteers will take the donations directly from the back of the vehicle - minimizing person-to-person contact. In addition to these measures, all volunteers will be wearing face coverings and gloves for the duration of the food drive.     Join us Tuesdays in June beginning June 2nd at 9 am. We will walk the paths in both Paul Schroeder Park and Margaret Stoecker Park for an hour to get our blood pumping! We will have light hand weights available to use and we will practice social distancing. Please bring water and appropriate dress for the weather (hat, sunglasses, jacket, etc…).
