The Manchester Parks and Recreation Department has a variety of seasonal positions open:

  • Park Maintenance - immediate openings 12 weeks, 40 hrs/wk Rate of pay based on experience.

  • Day Camp Counselor 30 – 35 hours week. May 27- July 25
        Beginning salary - $6.75- $7.00 hour

  • T-ball Instructor - Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5:45p-8:15p
        May 13 - June 19 (6 weeks) $12/hr

    REQUEST FOR BIDS

    The City of Manchester hereby gives notice that sealed bid proposals for the ULTRATHIN ASPHALT OVERLAY PROJECT will be received by the City of Manchester, Missouri, at the City Hall, 14318 Manchester Road, until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. All bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at that time. Bids received after said time will be returned unopened.

    All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be clearly marked, “ULTRATHIN ASPHALT OVERLAY PROJECT FOR DELMONICO, BRIARHURST, MAUTENNE AND COUNTRY STONE DRIVES.”

    The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the bid most advantageous to the City. Specifications and bid requirements may be secured from the Public Works Department at the Manchester City Hall, 14318 Manchester Road.
