Memorial Day Virtual Ceremony

Even though we aren’t able to come together to honor Virtual Memorial Day

and reflect, we still hope you’re able to tune in to our 

Memorial Day Virtual Ceremony.

Please join us for a livestreamed Memorial Day ceremony on May 25th honoring those who gave it all for our country and our freedom. Here is the link to the Facebook event where the livestream will take place. 


During the ceremony, Mayor Mike Clement and Veterans Commission member James Francis will be reading the names of loved ones submitted by residents of the City.

Schedule of events:
  • Live recording begins at 10AM
  • Walkthrough of the Memorial, acknowledging the Flags of Valor, including the one for PTSD and Spc. Matthew Walker. 
  • Invocation from James Francis
  • Mayor Mike Clement reads the Memorial Day Proclamation
  • James Francis and Mayor Mike Clement to read the names of veterans 
  • The playing of Taps by Chris Becker
  • The ceremony ends with the final note
